展現英(ying)語(yu)風采，訴說微笑力(li)量(liang)。5月18日下午，山東(dong)職業學院(yuan)第一(yi)屆英(ying)語(yu)文化節(jie)開幕(mu)式(shi)(shi)暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)(zhu)題英(ying)語(yu)演講比賽在圖書(shu)館行(xing)政樓東(dong)報告廳舉(ju)行(xing)，學院(yuan)副院(yuan)長郭鵬(peng)出席開幕(mu)式(shi)(shi)并致辭，基礎部(bu)(思政部(bu))主(zhu)(zhu)任(ren)賈明斌、團委(wei)書(shu)記王偉、國(guo)際交(jiao)流中心主(zhu)(zhu)任(ren)呂子泉蒞臨比賽現場。
副院(yuan)長郭鵬(peng)在(zai)致辭中指(zhi)出，隨著我們國家高(gao)鐵國際化戰(zhan)略(lve)的(de)(de)推進實施和(he)學(xue)院(yuan)建(jian)設優質高(gao)職院(yuan)校的(de)(de)改革發展，培養高(gao)素質應(ying)用(yong)型人才目(mu)標中學(xue)生英(ying)語(yu)應(ying)用(yong)水平(ping)凸顯(xian)重(zhong)要(yao)性，此次(ci)(ci)隆重(zhong)舉(ju)辦我院(yuan)第一屆(jie)英(ying)語(yu)文化節目(mu)的(de)(de)就是為了進一步突出英(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習的(de)(de)重(zhong)要(yao)性，鍛(duan)煉同學(xue)們的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)口語(yu)及實際交流應(ying)用(yong)能力，營造(zao)學(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習氛圍，為打(da)造(zao)特色學(xue)習型校園(yuan)進行(xing)的(de)(de)一次(ci)(ci)非常(chang)有(you)益(yi)和(he)有(you)意(yi)義的(de)(de)嘗試。
本屆英(ying)(ying)語文化節歷時一(yi)個(ge)月(yue)，由(you)基礎(chu)部(bu)、團(tuan)委(wei)和國際交流中心(xin)共同舉辦，是響應(ying)學院(yuan)建(jian)設國內領先、國際先進的優(you)質(zhi)高職(zhi)院(yuan)校(xiao)目標，通過(guo)開展英(ying)(ying)語演講比賽、英(ying)(ying)文歌曲大(da)賽、英(ying)(ying)語配(pei)音秀、英(ying)(ying)文海(hai)報比賽和英(ying)(ying)語角(jiao)等系列主(zhu)題活(huo)動，旨在營造(zao)人(ren)(ren)人(ren)(ren)學習英(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好英(ying)(ying)語的濃厚(hou)氛圍，提升大(da)學生(sheng)的學英(ying)(ying)語、說英(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好英(ying)(ying)語的水平(ping)，活(huo)動內容新穎豐富，貼近學習生(sheng)活(huo)。
經過(guo)前期的(de)(de)預賽(sai)，最終有來自各系的(de)(de)15位選手站上了(le)(le)決賽(sai)的(de)(de)舞臺，他們圍繞(rao)“The Power of Smile”為主題展(zhan)示英(ying)語演(yan)講風采，他們的(de)(de)演(yan)講或慷慨(kai)激昂、情感熱烈(lie)，或述說細膩、娓(wei)娓(wei)道來，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)現場互動問答(da)，贏(ying)得了(le)(le)臺下觀眾的(de)(de)陣陣掌聲。經過(guo)激烈(lie)的(de)(de)比(bi)拼，最終張嘉(jia)琳(lin)、袁嘉(jia)賢、周(zhou)穎、曲昌(chang)、高(gao)雪菲(fei)5位同學榮獲了(le)(le)此次比(bi)賽(sai)的(de)(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
